ACAO LAND ART PARK 【IDEA OPEN CALL 】

ACAO SPA & RESORT株式会社（静岡県熱海市上多賀 CEO：中野善壽）は、当社が所有する日本最大級を誇る広さ60万平米の森の中のアートエリア「ACAO LAND ART PARK」の、可能性を無限に広げることを目的としたアイデアコンテスト「IDEA OPEN CALL」の応募受付を、2024年6月18日（火）より開始いたします。
ACAO SPA & RESORT Co., Ltd. (CEO: Yoshihisa Nakano), located in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture, announces the start of applications for the “IDEA OPEN CALL” idea contest aimed at expanding the possibilities of “ACAO LAND ART PARK,” the largest forest art area in Japan spanning 600,000 square meters. Applications will be accepted starting from Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

日本最大級を誇る広さ60万平米の森の中のアートエリア、ACAO LAND ART PARK。
ここでは無限とも思える空や海、山、そしてガーデンの中で、自然と完全に調和した様々なアート作品が多数展開されています。
LAND ART（ランド・アート）は、1960年代末から1970年代初頭にアメリカで発展した芸術運動です。大地そのものを支持体や素材として、作品と場が直接結びつくことが特徴です。アーティストによって創られたアート作品はギャラリーの外に存在し、その写真や記録がギャラリーに展示されるという新しい鑑賞方法を生み出しました。かつてのランド・アートのアーティストたちは、当時の商業主義的な美術へのカウンターとして、広大な自然をキャンバスに、調和された壮大で美しいアート作品を創り上げました。ACAO LAND ART PARKは、自然とアート、そして訪れる人々との新たな関係を楽しめる鑑賞・体験スポットを提供しています。ここでは、すべての人が自らの感性を存分に発揮しながら、創造的で実験的な場所として共に楽しむことができます。

ACAO LAND ART PARK, boasting an expansive 600,000 ㎡, is Japan’s largest land art area. Here, amidst what seems like infinite skies, seas, mountains, and gardens, numerous art pieces harmoniously blend with nature.Developed in the late 1960s to early 1970s in America, land art is an artistic movement where nature itself serves as both platform and material, directly linking artworks to the environment. Artworks exist outside galleries, with their photographs and records being exhibited within galleries, creating a new way of appreciation. Land art artists create magnificent and harmonious artworks on vast natural canvases as a counter to the commercialism of contemporary art.
ACAO LAND ART PARK provides a space where you can enjoy a new relationship between yourself, nature, and art. Here, everyone can fully express their sensibilities and enjoy nature as a creative and experimental place.

IDEA OPEN CALLでは、60万平米に広がる日本最大級のアートエリア「ACAO LAND ART PARK」の可能性を無限に広げる革新的なアイデアを募集いたします。LAND ART PARK「ACAO FOREST」やLAND ART PARK「ACAO BEACH」の新たな活用方法、自然と共生するユニークなアートインスタレーション、これからの未来が楽しみになるようなイベント、あったらいいなと思うメタバース空間の創生など、ACAO LAND ART PARK内の空間やリソースを最大限に活用した、従来のアイデアコンテストの枠に捉われない革新的かつクリエイティブなアイデアをお待ちしています。

In the IDEA OPEN CALL, we are seeking innovative ideas to expand the potential of Japan’s largest art area, “ACAO LAND ART PARK,Japan’s sprawling art area covering 600,000 square meters. We welcome creative ideas that go beyond the confines of traditional idea contests, utilizing the spaces and resources within ACAO LAND ART PARK to the fullest extent. This includes exploring new uses for LAND ART PARK “ACAO FOREST” and LAND ART PARK “ACAO BEACH,” unique art installations that coexist harmoniously with nature, events that evoke excitement for the future, and the creation of metaverse spaces that people would love to see.

ACAO LAND ART PARKは、これまで多くのアーティスト、建築家、ランドスケープデザイナーなど、クリエイティブなプレイヤーたちと協力し、自然との調和を追求してきました。私たちACAO LAND ART PARKメンバーは、日本の美しい四季や森が示すように、自然と共生しながらも斬新で革新的な活用方法などのアイデアやプランを積極的に取り入れることを目指し、今回初めてOPEN CALLを実施するに至りました。今回のアイデア・コンテストでは、これまで以上に多様な才能を持つ人々からの応募を期待しています。皆様が持つ知識と経験、そして感性を活かし、ACAO LAND ART PARKの魅力をさらに引き出す提案をお待ちしています。多様な視点と創造力を持つアーティストやデザイナーの皆様が参加し、共に未来を創造していけることを楽しみにしています。

ACAO LAND ART PARK has long been committed to the pursuit of harmony with nature, drawing on the collaborative efforts of numerous creative individuals, including artists, architects, and landscape designers. As members of ACAO LAND ART PARK, we are driven by the beauty of Japan’s changing seasons and lush forests to actively seek out bold and innovative ideas and plans, all while aiming to coexist harmoniously with nature. It has led us to launch our very first IDEA OPEN CALL. For this idea contest, we are anticipating submissions from an even more diverse range of talented individuals than ever before. We invite applicants to utilize their knowledge, experience, and artistic sensibility to propose ideas that will enrich ACAO LAND ART PARK. We’re excitedly awaiting the involvement of artists and designers with diverse perspectives and unparalleled creativity, as together, we forge the path for the future community.

IDEA OPEN CALLでは、日本最大級を誇る広さ60万平米の森の中のアートエリア「ACAO LAND ART PARK」の可能性を無限に広げる革新的な活用方法などのアイデアを募集いたします。LAND ART PARK「ACAO FOREST」やLAND ART PARK「ACAO BEACH」の新たな利活用プラン、自然と共生するユニークなアートインスタレーション、これからの未来が楽しみになるようなイベント、あったらいいなと思うメタバース空間の創生など、ACAO LAND ART PARKの森やビーチ、その他リソースを最大限に活用した、従来の枠に捉われないクリエイティブなアイデアをお待ちしています。

■参加資格 – Eligibility –

・LAPに賛同し、行動力のある個人や学生、企業、アーティストなどあらゆる表現者・企画者。
・年齢・国籍・実績は問わず。
・個人でのお申込み、グループ、ユニットでのお申込みも可能。
・本募集要項に同意の上、開始から終了まで責任を持って参加できること。

・Individuals, students, companies, artists, and all other creators and planners who are proactive and support LAP.
・No restrictions on age, nationality, or experience.
・Applications can be submitted individually, as a group, or as a unit.
・Must agree to these application guidelines and participate responsibly from start to finish.

■入選 – Selection –

アイデアの実現を後押しするサポートはじめ、LAND ART PARK のスペース貸し出し等、提供を予定しています。

We will support idea implementation, offering resources and assistance, including space rental within the LAND ART PARK.

■施設見学会 – Facility Tour –
「LAND ART PARK IDEA OPEN CALL」開催にあたり、応募を検討されている方を対象に会場となる場所を視察する施設見学会を行います。実際に熱海に訪れていただき、「ACAO LAND ART PARK」の特色を感じて頂ける機会となっております。
※オンライン説明会にご出席された方にチケットを配布いたします。（※配布上限あり）
オンライン説明会日程：6月25日(火)15:00- 45分(15分質疑応答)/ 7月6日(土) 15:00- 45分(15分質疑応答)　

※上記にご参加できない場合、見逃し配信へご案内させていただきます。

We will be conducting facility tours for individuals considering applying to the ‘LAND ART PARK IDEA OPEN CALL’. This will offer you the chance to visit the venue in Atami and experience the distinctive features of ACAO LAND ART PARK for yourself.
※We will provide tickets to attendees of the online briefing session. (※ Limited availability)

※If you are unable to attend the sessions, we will provide the access to the recorded session.

■審査基準　- Decision Criteria –

・LAP理念に沿った企画・アイデアや作品であること
・固定概念に捉われず、斬新な企画・アイデアや作品であること
・造作の場合、実現可能なものであり、提案者が責任をもって実行まで進める事ができること
・LAPの魅力向上へ繋がる取り組みであること。

※作品や造作の場合、実現するにあたり、必要な予算を算出後プレゼンテーションがあります。
※作品の場合、既に制作済みのものでもご提出可能です。

・Proposals, ideas, or works must align with the LAND ART PARK philosophy.
・Being free from conventional thinking, it should be fresh innovative proposals, ideas, and creations.
・The proposed idea must be achievable, and the proposer should have the ability to responsibly execute it.
・Should contribute to the enrichment of LAND ART PARK.

※ Once the required budget for implementation is determined, there will be a presentation.
※ For artworks, submissions of pre-existing pieces are also welcome.
